Sales Representatives (Inside & Outside Roles)
Location: Yonkers, NY (Inside: In-Office | Outside: Hybrid 2 Days Office / 3 Days Field)
Compensation: Inside: $45,000 - $55,000 + bonus | Outside: $60,000 - $90,000 base + uncapped commission & bonuses
Schedule: Full-time, Day shift (Mon-Fri)
About the Roles
We are growing our building supply team and looking for driven sales professionals. Whether you excel at closing deals on the road or delivering exceptional service to walk-in contractors, we have a path for you.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Outside Focus: Dedicate 85%-90% of your time hunting new business via cold calls, site visits, and networking with developers and project managers. Attend trade shows and industry events to hit metrics.
Inside Focus: Serve as the face of the company for retail, commercial, and walk-in customers. Answer inquiries, educate customers on products, process transactions, and maintain store displays.
Shared Goal: Work seamlessly together to service existing accounts and ensure customers get exactly what they need.
What You Need
Experience: Sales background required. Outside reps need 3-5 years of aggressive sales and cold-calling. Inside reps prefer 3 years of retail/contractor sales.
Industry Knowledge: 1-3 years of building materials/supply experience is highly preferred for both roles.
Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.
Role-Specific Needs:
Outside: CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Inside: High School Diploma, basic math skills, and ability to use safe lifting techniques.
