    Position Title: Title I Reading Specialist (Part-Time)

    Location: Immaculate Conception School, Celina, Ohio

    Employment Type: Part-Time (25 hours/week; 5 hours/day)

    Grade Levels: Kindergarten through Grade 4

    Position Overview:

    Immaculate Conception, a non-public school in Celina, Ohio, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Title I Reading Specialist to support students in grades K-4. This position focuses on providing targeted reading instruction and intervention through small group settings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early literacy development and committed to helping students build strong foundational reading skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide small group reading instruction and intervention for students in grades K-4
    • Assess student reading abilities and monitor progress regularly
    • Develop and implement targeted instructional plans based on student needs
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student learning and align interventions
    • Utilize research-based reading strategies and interventions
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Title I requirements
    • Communicate effectively with staff regarding student progress and instructional strategies
    • Support a positive, nurturing learning environment

    Qualifications:

    • Licensure: P-5 or Elementary (1-8)
    • Strong background in reading instruction and early literacy development
    • Experience with intervention strategies and progress monitoring tools
    • Ability to work effectively with young learners in small group settings
    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in a Title I or intervention role
    • Familiarity with structured literacy approaches and evidence-based reading practices
    • Experience working in a non-public or faith-based school setting
