What Youll Do
As an Imaging Center Hospitality Associate, youll help create an outstanding patient experience from the moment patients arrive until they leave our center.
Deliver an Exceptional Welcome
- Greet every patient and visitor with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
- Create a welcoming, supportive environment for patients and families
- Maintain the highest standards of hospitality throughout every interaction
Coordinate Patient Registration
- Register patients accurately using our Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Collect identification, physician orders, insurance information, and payments
- Scan and maintain patient documentation to ensure billing accuracy
- Verify orders and pre-authorizations, escalating discrepancies when appropriate
Support Patient Flow
- Monitor patient arrivals and appointment status
- Communicate delays with empathy and professionalism
- Assist with same-day scheduling requests, walk-in X-rays, and other patient needs
- Help ensure an efficient, organized patient experience throughout the day
Provide Administrative Support
- Answer incoming calls using FRCs professional phone etiquette standards
- Route calls and relay messages appropriately
- Burn or load imaging DVDs and assist with medical record requests
- Maintain a clean, organized reception and waiting area
Protect Patient Privacy
- Safeguard confidential patient information
- Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in every interaction
What Youll Bring
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of customer service or hospitality experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple software applications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred
- Healthcare, medical office, or patient registration experience
- Experience with insurance verification or patient scheduling
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or healthcare registration systems

Compensation & Career Growth
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
$19.13 - $25.88 per hour
