Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished IFS Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high quality ERP solutions for strategic customers. You will serve as the technical and functional authority across complex implementations, translating business requirements into cohesive architectures aligned with IFS best practices and long term customer value. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in IFS Cloud and earlier IFS Applications versions across Enterprise Asset Management, Finance, Maintenance and other core enterprise modules. You should have a proven track record designing multi site or multi entity solutions and governing integrations, data flows, configurations, and extension strategies while minimizing unnecessary customization. This role requires someone equally confident advising executives, facilitating solution workshops, and guiding functional consultants, developers, and data teams through hands on delivery. You will identify architectural risks, maintain solution documentation and standards, and ensure quality, performance, and traceability throughout each engagement. Experience supporting proposals, statements of work, and pre sales activities within a Professional Services environment is highly valued. Join us to shape how IFS solutions are architected and delivered while helping customers reduce risk, accelerate time to value, and achieve successful ERP transformations.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end solution design for IFS implementations, including requirements gathering, solution definition, validation, and delivery support

  • Provide architectural leadership across engagements, ensuring adherence to standards and alignment with customer objectives and agreed scope

  • Define solution architecture, including system configuration, integrations, data flows, and extension strategies

  • Maintain solution design documentation and architectural standards for consistency and traceability

  • Facilitate solution workshops with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements and align on process design

  • Ensure alignment with IFS best practices and standard functionality, minimizing unnecessary customization

  • Provide guidance to functional consultants, developers, and data teams to ensure delivery quality and consistency

  • Identify and mitigate solution risks including design gaps, integration dependencies, and performance concerns

  • Act as a trusted advisor on solution design, system capabilities, and long term roadmap considerations

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • IFS Solution Expertise: Deep functional and technical expertise in IFS Cloud and earlier IFS Applications versions across core enterprise modules, with the ability to design cohesive, end to end solutions aligned to complex business requirements

  • Solution Architecture & Design Leadership: Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solution architectures, balancing configuration, standard functionality, and extension strategies while maintaining architectural integrity

  • Executive & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to communicate solution options, trade offs, and implications to both business and technical stakeholders, including executive audiences

  • Cross Functional Architecture & Governance: Experience designing and governing integrations between IFS and external systems while ensuring end to end solution integrity across functional domains such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Projects

Other responsibilities:

  • Proven ERP solution architecture experience in a Professional Services environment, with strong IFS implementation exposure

  • Deep knowledge of IFS Cloud and earlier IFS Applications versions across multiple modules

  • Experience designing complex, multi entity or multi site ERP implementations

  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture, integrations, configuration, and performance optimization

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive level engagement

  • Ability to balance strategic design with hands on delivery involvement

  • Experience contributing to proposals, SOWs, and pre sales engagements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a consulting environment
