Serves as the functional and technical authority for Itron Enterprise Edition, with primary focus on meter-data acquisition, VEE, interval processing, usage aggregation, billing determinants, exception handling, reporting, and integration with SAP IS-U and the AMI ecosystem. * Define IEE configuration for acquisition, validation, estimation, editing, interval processing, event handling, usage aggregation, exceptions, and revenue-protection processes.

Job Description:
8+ years in utilities, including 5+ years of hands-on IEE experience.

Roles & Responsibilities
Serves as the functional and technical authority for Itron Enterprise Edition, with primary focus on meter-data acquisition, VEE, interval processing, usage aggregation, billing determinants, exception handling, reporting, and integration with SAP IS-U and the AMI ecosystem.
* Lead IEE requirements, fit-gap, process-design, configuration, and solution-review workshops with metering and billing stakeholders.
* Define IEE configuration for acquisition, validation, estimation, editing, interval processing, event handling, usage aggregation, exceptions, and revenue-protection processes.
* Map meter, device, service point, channel, register, interval, event, and billing-determinant data across IEE and SAP IS-U.
* Define interfaces with AMI head-end systems, MDM, CDG, SAP IS-U, portals, analytics, and operational reporting platforms.
* Establish validation rules, tolerances, estimation methods, editing controls, audit history, exception queues, and operational ownership.
* Guide historical data conversion, configuration migration, record-count reconciliation, interval completeness checks, and billing-impact validation.
* Develop business scenarios and acceptance criteria for unit, interface, SIT, UAT, ORT, volume, and recovery testing.
* Assess batch schedules, throughput, storage, retention, monitoring, alerting, and support procedures needed for production operations.
* Lead defect analysis for missing reads, invalid intervals, failed VEE, incorrect determinants, interface exceptions, and reconciliation differences.
* Support cutover, production validation, hypercare, knowledge transfer, and transition to metering operations and application support.
