The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to customers throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle, ensuring every account is positioned for long-term success.

The territory includes all states west of the Mississippi River. Candidates should reside near a major airport, as travel is expected to be approximately 80%.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute SteriCUBE's commercial strategy by developing new business while supporting successful implementations across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and integrated health systems.

    • Drive adoption of SteriCUBE capital equipment and recurring consumable products while consistently achieving or exceeding territory sales objectives.

    • Lead implementation activities for new customer sites, ensuring seamless onboarding, training, workflow integration, and long-term utilization.

    • Expand existing accounts by identifying growth opportunities across orthopedic, spine, trauma, and additional surgical specialties.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, Sterile Processing Department leaders, operating room staff, hospital executives, administrators, supply chain leaders, and distributor partners.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer education, implementation planning, account support, and product utilization.

    • Collaborate with clinical specialists to coordinate operating room trials, case coverage, SPD workflow optimization, and customer training.

    • Train SPD personnel and OR teams on SteriCUBE protocols, product handling, and best practices to maximize customer success.

    • Partner with distributors while maintaining ownership of account strategy and customer adoption.

    • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting through CRM while providing regular territory updates and competitive intelligence.

    • Monitor key performance indicators including implementation success, account penetration, recurring consumable growth, surgeon utilization, and customer adoption.

    • Represent SteriCUBE at regional conferences, industry meetings, educational programs, and professional society events.

    • Collaborate with Marketing on territory-specific initiatives that increase awareness and customer engagement.

    • Maintain all required hospital credentialing and compliance requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare industry experience.

    • Successful track record in medical device, healthcare technology, capital equipment, or hospital-based sales.

    • Experience working with hospitals, IDNs, ambulatory surgery centers, or sterile processing environments.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships across multiple levels of a healthcare organization.

    • Experience leading implementations, product launches, customer onboarding, or clinical adoption initiatives is highly preferred.

    • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.

    • Experience using CRM systems to manage territory planning and forecasting.

    • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% throughout the assigned territory.

    What Makes Someone Successful

The ideal candidate is an adaptable, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. They are equally comfortable presenting to a hospital CEO, collaborating with surgeons, or working directly with Sterile Processing technicians to solve operational challenges.

Success in this role requires someone who embraces ambiguity, takes ownership, communicates exceptionally well, and consistently puts the customer first. Above all, candidates should be passionate about improving patient care by helping healthcare organizations operate more efficiently.

    Compensation

    • Base Salary: $160,000–$175,000

    • Target Total Compensation: $250,000+

    • Significant earning potential through company growth and implementation activity
