Position Description
The Seattle Police Department is currently seeking an Identification Data Specialist. This position is charged with analyzing and processing SPD criminal bookings; review, research, edit and electronically transfer the bookings to the Washington State Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation; problem solve booking information issues; audit open investigation charges; and verify Superior, District, and Municipal court charges.

The full salary range for this position is $35.13 - $39.19 per hour.
New employees begin at Step 1 of the pay progression, which is $35.13 hourly. Current City employees' starting rate of pay will be based on Personnel Rules regarding promotions. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) regular position with full benefits. This is a Civil Service position eligible for overtime.
