ICU RN

This 267-bed hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL — home to an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, and open-heart surgery services — is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to join its critical care team.

The role. Reporting within the ICU, the RN delivers individualized, comprehensive care to critically ill patients using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The nurse carries out provider-ordered procedures and monitoring while maintaining thorough, timely documentation in the patient medical record. A meaningful part of the role involves translating complex medical information into clear guidance for patients, families, and caregivers — covering treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures including lifestyle modifications that support long-term self-management. The RN also collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and customize holistic treatment plans, and actively contributes to evidence-based practice and continuous process improvement initiatives that drive quality outcomes in the unit.

What we're looking for.

• Associate Degree
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• 1+ years of acute care ICU experience preferred (would consider ED or Surgical Floor experience)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Schedule. Nights with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $27.72 - $39.60/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus
