Strong experience in cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilator management, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVLs), EVDs, neurosurgery, and laboratory interpretation. Preferred Skills: CVICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, CRRT/CVVHD, Impella, EVD/ICP monitoring, and post-cardiac surgery care.

Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Lubbock, TX 79410
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening, 3:00 PM 3:00 AM (312 hours)
Experience: Minimum 3 years; seasoned travel nurses required
Charting System: Epic (required)
Patient Ratio: 1:2

Job Requirements

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Strong experience in cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilator management, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVLs), EVDs, neurosurgery, and laboratory interpretation.

• Proficiency in critical care interventions, cardiac and vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and emergency response.

• Ability to float between units as needed.

Schedule & Facility Details

• Weekends required: 6 weekend shifts based on unit needs.

• 48-hour workweeks approved; no on-call required.

• Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

• Short-Term Acute Care Hospital with 379 staffed beds and a Level II Trauma Center.

• Dress code: Solid navy blue scrubs for licensed nursing personnel.

• Free employee/visitor parking available.
