A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced ICU Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality critical care support across multiple hospital units and locations. This role is ideal for adaptable nursing professionals who thrive in diverse clinical environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care where it is needed most.
Perform comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced critical care therapies as prescribed
Operate and monitor specialized critical care equipment
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and recovery goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Support quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives
Adapt quickly to different ICU environments and patient populations
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care while maintaining clinical excellence
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Recent intensive care unit experience required
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in multiple care settings and adapt to changing patient needs
