Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person and Zoom advising related services for undergraduate students in the Department of Information & Computer Sciences.
  • Support the function of the ICS Advising Team in advertisement, outreach, and recruitment activities.
  • Process advising-related paperwork.
  • Assist in managing ICS Advising media and newsletter.
  • Work with undergraduate data to improve advising services and promote student success.
  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree. Currently enrolled in a graduate program.
  • 0 years of experience in academic advising.
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiar with working with a diverse student population.
  • Access to a car and has a driver license.
