IBM z/OS Migration Consultant-IMU/EZT

CTG is seeking to fill an IBM z/OS Migration Consultant - IMU/EZT position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: Ongoing Contract Duties: Lead and support Easytrieve Plus (EZT) to COBOL migration projects using IBM Migration Utility (IMU). Install, configure, and troubleshoot IMU on IBM z/OS systems. Analyze, convert, and validate Easytrieve Plus applications to COBOL. Provide technical support and problem determination for IMU-related issues. Assist clients with diagnosing and resolving conversion errors. Conduct IMU training sessions and develop technical presentation materials. Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders to support successful project delivery. Document migration processes, best practices, and technical resolutions. Skills: IBM z/OS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and JCL. IBM Migration Utility (IMU) and conversion methods. Easytrieve Plus (EZT). COBOL. DB2 and/or IMS environments. Strong troubleshooting and problem determination skills. Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills. Microsoft Word and standard presentation tools. Experience: Strong application development or system programming background. Proven installation and migration experience on IBM z/OS. Hands-on experience with IBM Migration Utility (IMU). Experience converting Easytrieve Plus applications to COBOL. Experience conducting technical training and knowledge-transfer sessions. Ability to work effectively with customers, IBM teams, and technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90.00 to $110.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
