Title: IBM Sterling Developer (2 positions)
Location: Plano, TX, Charlotte NC or Pennington, NJ (3 days a week onsite and 2 days a week remote)



Note: These positions are very focused on development and the interview will be technical.

The Security Specialist will analyze, strengthen, and work on high volume with high availability and resilient applications. This role focuses on identifying potential threats and risks and advising recommendations. The Security Specialist with IBM SI/SSP niche skillsets will analyze the Edge controls to identify and document inefficiencies, and design/prioritize improvement opportunities to enable security adherence.
  • Job expectations include using data analytics and partnering with internal teams to verify policy compliance, identify gaps in coverage, and support remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and business processes.
  • Key individual contributor, with accountability for enabling secure environments (processes and technologies) for the business and technology groups.
  • Utilizes technical and business knowledge to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.
  • Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units, at various levels.
  • Mastery with network and data transmission protocols, including the design, development, implementation, or governance of scalable secure data transmissions.
  • Knowledge to design and implement secure, risk-based solutions, exercising judgment within broadly defined practices and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor IBM sterling Integrator (SI) environments to ensure secure transmission and integration of data across B2B networks.
  • Design, implement and maintain IT security measures, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop and integrate services in large-scale distributed enterprise infrastructures.
  • Build tools to automate, provision, deploy, monitor, and manage production systems.
  • Modernization of the tech stack by upgrading IBM SI 5.x to 6.x and integration with IBM SSP.
  • Design and build IBM SSP on B2B Zone and DMZ Edge network.
  • Integrate SI and SSP with HSM

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years proven hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Integrator 6.x or above, Sterling Secure Proxy (SSP), SSP-Configuration Manager, SSP-External Authenticator and Sterling Integrator Implementations, Installations, and patches.
  • Prior experience with IBM SI 5.x upgrade.
  • Extensive knowledge of BPML - Business Process Development, Knowledge of XPath, XML and XSLT
  • Experience with Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting, Networking/LTM/GTM, design and architecture of authentication services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of setting up of SFTP, AS2 and Connect Direct transmissions.
