    Description

     Core Responsibilities
    • Lead and coordinate initiatives involvingidentity governance, application security, authorization, and access management.
    • Serve as a trusted technical resource and partner to business and technology teams, providing guidance on security and access-related matters.
    • Explain complex security and IAM concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Design, implement, and improve IAM processes related to access requests, provisioning, authorization, and risk management.
    • Identify opportunities to improve inefficient or outdated access management processes and develop practical solutions.
    • Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.
    • Oversee day-to-day application security and access administration across a broad enterprise application environment.
    • Lead the design, configuration, implementation, administration, and ongoing support of SailPoint-based identity governance solutions.
    • Provide technical support throughout the full project lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
    • Ensure application security and access configurations support applicable regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including SOX controls.
    • Respond quickly and effectively to access management and security-related requests and issues.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on application security, identity governance, authorization, and data privacy principles.
    • Partner with audit and compliance teams to address questions, document controls, and provide supporting evidence when required.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, support guides, and access management standards.
    • Monitor existing processes and documentation to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Help mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Hands-on experience partnering with both business and technology teams to incorporate security and identity controls into existing and new solutions.
    • Strong experience in application security, identity governance, authorization, and access management.
    • Significant hands-on experience administering and supportingSailPoint in an enterprise environment.
    • Experience integrating identity governance platforms with enterprise applications and directories through APIs and other integration technologies.
    • Experience integrating SailPoint with platforms such as HR systems, IT service management platforms, ERP systems, identity providers, and directory services.
    • Strong understanding of access provisioning, role-based access, authorization models, identity lifecycle management, and access governance.
    • Experience working directly with internal or external auditors to answer questions, demonstrate controls, and provide evidence.
    • Understanding of data privacy principles and their application to enterprise identity and access management.
    • Strong knowledge of industry best practices for application security and access management.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, influence stakeholders, facilitate change, and drive operational improvements.
    • Highly organized, adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Ability to work effectively when requirements or available information are incomplete or evolving.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, technical teams, business leaders, and external consultants.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and changing business requirements.
    • Experience supporting organizations with complex operational environments, regulated processes, or large-scale enterprise applications is a plus.
    • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility but will have significant influence over process design, technical standards, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
