With a growing network of locations, both the Vascular Institutes and California Foot & Ankle Centers (CALFAC) provide comprehensive care and surgery, including advanced wound care and amputation-prevention therapies, lower extremity peripheral nerve surgery, vascular medicine, and reconstructive surgery.

We have been serving patients in Northern California for over 60 years, building a loyal patient base keeping our clinic and surgery center locations busy with little to no marketing during that time. JOB BRIEF

We are seeking an experienced I.T. professional to support our staff at all of our clinic locations in Northern California, as well as occasional company-paid travel to our centers in other states. See www.TLCvascular.com for locations. Most work will be normal business hours. But sometimes after-hours and weekend work will be required, as systems cannot be taken down during working hours.

As a member of our team, we all provide a high level of efficient patient care, while always presenting a caring, ethical, and professional experience for the patients, doctors and other team members.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Setup, Administration, Training and Support for Company Systems:
VoiP phone system (Ring Central)
Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Email, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
MS Windows 10 and 11 Pro
Office Network topology (ISP, modem, firewall, switch, wifi, patch panel,..)
SonicWall firewall set up and admin
Network security and web best practices
Assure HIPAA compliance for all network nodes and usage points.
Medical records systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks); other extending systems
Cabling: CAT5/6 and RJ45 cabling for new offices
Evaluate cost/benefit and feasibility for new purchases
Setup and maintain organized storage for tools and parts inventories.

Medical Equipment, Systems, and Supplies:
Manage medical equipment vendor support and business relationships
Deeply understand vendors' product support policies and procedures
Receive, set up, and test medical equipment when being deployed
Train and support our staff on the medical equipment
Help evaluate possible purchases of medical equipment (new & used)
Maintain a Calibration Log for all equipment requiring recurring calibration

General I.T. Responsibilities:
Resolving IT support requests from the and others
Answering employee questions regarding computer systems
Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems
Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues
Generating sign ins for new hires during the onboarding process
Installing software and hardware drivers; updating as needed
Updating employees on the status of their service requests
Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed


BASIC KNOWLEDGE and Experience

Minimum 2 years of deep office I.T. and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of medical office workflows is a plus, but not required
High school diploma required; Associate college degree preferred
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, fax, printers, scanners, other office software
Must be fluent in English (read, write, comprehend, and speak)
