    Position Description, Functions, Duties and Tasks:

    Position Description:

    • Execute planned work per the weekly schedule and reactive work as needed to support manufacturing

    • PM’s and calibrations should be performed prior to scheduled due dates

    • Update the maintenance work schedule daily and regularly provide feedback on work status to supervision and other maintenance support personnel as needed • Provide accurate, complete, legible, and timely work order and calibration documentation

    • Troubleshoot instrument and electrical issues and interface cross-functionally and with vendors and contractors as needed

    • Serve as a technical resource to the manufacturing areas regarding I&E maintenance and troubleshooting

    • Provide call-in coverage for emergency breakdowns as needed

    • Maintain a safe work environment, work safely, and accountable for supporting HSE goals and initiatives

    • Keep up to date on required training and SOP reads

    • Adhere to quality standards required for operating and maintaining a GMP facility

    Minimum Qualification (Education, Experience and/or Training, Required Certifications):

    Education:

    • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a journeyman level I&E technician or equivalent training. 

    Required Skills:

    • Instrument and electrical aptitude, problem solving, attention to detail, and troubleshooting skills

    • Knowledge and ability to install, maintain, and repair standard industrial instruments and electrical equipment such as transmitters, controllers, sensors, valves, motors, drives, etc.

    • Qualified to work on equipment up to 480V

    • Strong written and oral communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills

    • Performs in a team based environment, willing to participate in team activities, serve in a leadership role, and be receptive to receiving and giving constructive coaching to team members and management

    • Able to handle change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.

    • High level of initiative

    Additional Preferences:

    • Proficient with SAP, SE Suite, Word, and Excel

    • Technical Degree preferred

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to perform and review work in a manufacturing plant environment. This includes ascending/descending ladders and stairs, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, wearing appropriate clean room garments, maintaining clean room certification and having the ability to lift 40 lb loads. Incumbent’s duties may involve internal/external work in various climate/weather conditions associated with a manufacturing plant at any time. The incumbent is expected to respond to plant emergencies when required
