Hydrostatic Product Engineer
Pay Range: $70,000 to $120,000 DOE + Profit Sharing + Robust Benefits

How you'll spend your time as a Hydrostatic Product Engineer:
- Own product performance, documentation, and resolution of transmission issues.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for teams, customers, and channel partners.
- Lead technical qualifications of new suppliers for castings and precision machined parts.
- Evaluate casting quality, defects, dimensional variation, and machining allowances.
- Review material selection, metallurgy, heat treatment, and hardness specifications.
- Assess supplier machining capability for tight tolerances and critical features.
- Define inspection requirements and verify critical dimensions with quality and suppliers.
- Design and oversee testing to validate changes and investigate failures.
- Perform root cause analysis on field failures, warranty issues, and production defects.
- Manage engineering changes and maintain CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Hydrostatic Product Engineer:
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with precision components or fluid power.
- Strong knowledge of precision machining and supplier process capability.
- Working knowledge of casting processes and common casting defects.
- Strong understanding of materials, metallurgy, heat treatment, and hardness.
- Strong command of GD&T, engineering drawings, and tolerance analysis.
- Experience defining inspection requirements and interpreting metrology results.
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and change validation.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo.
- Hydrostatic transmission, hydraulic pump, or motor experience is a plus.
- Experience with CMMs, process capability, or production part qualification is a plus.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
