    About the role

    Join an employee-owned team where you’ll keep water moving. In this entry-level field role, you’ll help load and unload equipment, support service and repairs, and assist with installing water pump systems. Expect hands-on work, variety in your days, and up to 40% travel with strong growth potential.

    A day in the life

    You start at the yard, reviewing the job ticket and pulling the right hose, pipe, fittings, and pumps. Using motorized material-handling equipment, you load gear safely, secure the load, and keep the work area tidy and organized. Then it’s off to a customer site to help mobilize a system: connecting pipe, setting pumps, and double-checking safety procedures. When projects wrap, you help dismantle equipment and bring it back. Along the way, you pitch in to diagnose issues on diesel-powered heavy equipment and keep operations running smoothly.

    What you’ll do

    • Pull, stage, and organize hoses, piping, fittings, and pumps for maintenance and repair tasks
    • Operate motorized equipment-handling machinery to load and unload equipment safely
    • Secure loads for transport
    • Maintain clean, debris-free, and well-organized yard and loading areas
    • Follow all safety processes and procedures
    • Travel locally to assist with mobilization/demobilization of systems on customer sites
    • Assist with pipe connections, pump setup, and post-project dismantling of equipment/accessories
    • Help troubleshoot diesel-powered heavy equipment

    What you bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • General mechanical aptitude and comfort working outdoors
    • Hands-on, field-based experience preferred
    • Experience operating heavy equipment/machinery preferred
    • Diesel engine exposure preferred (not required)
    • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
    • Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Flexible to work varied hours; local travel up to 40%
    • Ability to read, write legibly, and communicate effectively
    • Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment
    • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
