HYDRAULIC EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN | $32/HR + OT Join SAVARD Personnel Group, where your skills are valued!
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM
Duration: Temporary to perm Key Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong hands-on experience with hydraulic pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hoses
- Proven hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostic experience
- Electrical experience preferred, including radio remotes and pump controls
- Experience developing and managing Preventive Maintenance Programs (PMP)
- Prior Doggett / CAT equipment experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to work onshore, offshore, and overseas for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- English or bilingual
Job Duties:
- Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic and mechanical equipment
- Assist with equipment upkeep, repairs, and daily maintenance
- Develop and implement PMP plans across equipment fleets
- Perform equipment inspections and testing during mobilization and demobilization
- Verify equipment is fit for use and meets calibration/certification requirements
- Support offshore and onshore equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Assist with subsea hardware installation and umbilical pre-commissioning work
- Maintain daily reports, test records, and equipment documentation
- Support onshore preparation and offshore operations as needed
- Follow all company and offshore safety procedures
