The Opportunity

We are looking for a visionary Hydraulic/Hydrology Engineer & Project Manager to spearhead critical public infrastructure and flood control projects across the Southwest.

> Technical Arsenal & Core Duties

As a senior member of our team, you'll dive deep into advanced modeling while steering the project ship:

  • Advanced Modeling: Craft sophisticated 1D and 2D stormwater simulations using HEC-RAS, HEC-RAS 2D, HEC-HMS, and FLO-2D.

  • Regulatory Command: Mastermind FEMA permitting and navigate complex jurisdictional drainage frameworks.

  • Design Oversight: Direct the production of high-caliber drainage designs and construction blueprints utilizing AutoCAD, while managing geospatial data via ArcGIS and QGIS.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a technical compass for eager EIT staff, breaking down complex H&H theory into actionable practice.

  • Field to Boardroom: Conduct site investigations, document crucial findings, and build compelling graphic presentations for key stakeholders.


= Leadership & Execution Goals

  • Own the Outcome: Lead projects that hit deadlines, stay sharp on budget, and exceed client expectations.

  • Collaborate Masterfully: Build a culture of camaraderie, working seamlessly with fellow PMs and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Drive Innovation: Don't just follow the playbook—routinely propose faster, sharper, and more effective ways to solve engineering challenges.

  • Keep Score: Review performance metrics, manage project frameworks, and guide proper staffing allocation for peak efficiency.


< What You Bring to the Table

  • Credentials: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and a valid Professional Engineer (PE) License (Arizona registration preferred, or ability to obtain via reciprocity).

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of dedicated drainage and stormwater engineering experience (Phoenix-area regional knowledge is a massive plus).

  • Soft Skills: Top-tier organizational skills, sharp critical thinking, and the clarity to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Execution: A deep understanding of construction means, methods, and specifications.
