Description

Pay: $50-70/hour W2. Our company offers our consultants a suite of benefits after a qualification period including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance. 
Hybrid role in Oklahoma City, OK or Denver, CO. Occasional travel for training and hardware repairs may be required.
W2 candidates highly preferred; this role may convert to perm and work sponsorship is not available for this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Linux HPC/Supercomputer systems availability to the customer.
  • Preform hardware diagnostics and repairs as required.
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate problems to higher-level product support groups and appropriate management when necessary to ensure timely resolution of system or customer issues.
  • Understands a broad spectrum of company technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
  • Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
  • Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
  • Communicates across client community and is viewed as adding value.
  • Demonstrates execution of the company strategy.
  • Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.
  • Role models knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Linux HPC-related experience, ideally with large-scale HPC system administration and hardware support
  • Strong experience with current versions of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, networking and security (Redhat/CentOS or its equivalent)
  • Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).
  • Working knowledge and/or experience with Linux operating systems; RHEL or SLES is preferred.
