Dean's Professional Services is now hiring qualified Certified Medical Assistant in the Houston area to support both the front and back of the clinic.

Hybrid Medical Assistant Job Details: 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Friday 7:30 AM - 1:30PM

Location: 1934 Caroline St., Houston, TX 77002 (Main Clinic)

Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hourly (Based on experience)

Temporary to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Room, Triage patients, taking vitals, patient history, administering injections, performing venipunctures and other screening.
• Authorize prescription refill and Instruct patients regarding medications.
• Scheduling patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Perform insurance verification, authorizations, referrals, etc. 
• Collect co-payments, reconcile charges and balances.
• Communicate unexpected wait times to patients.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be Certified
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant, Front Desk, or related experience.
• Ability to travel to different locations as needed.
• Must have EPIC experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
