Alignment Health is seeking a strategic and driven Product Manager to help design, develop, and enhance Medicare Advantage products that serve the evolving needs of our members.

In this highly visible role, you will partner with leaders across the organization to develop innovative, compliant, and member-centered health plan solutions that drive growth, improve member satisfaction, and deliver business results. You will leverage market insights, consumer trends, demographic data, regulatory requirements, and business strategy to influence product decisions that directly impact the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

Lead Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management

Drive the strategy, development, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Medicare Advantage products across assigned markets and member segments. Identify opportunities to strengthen competitiveness, enhance member experiences, and improve business outcomes.

Drive Benefit Design and Product Innovation

Lead the development and refinement of benefits, plan features, and member experience enhancements. Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Compliance, and Operations to ensure solutions are financially sustainable, operationally effective, and aligned with member needs.

Support CMS Bid and Regulatory Activities

Participate in annual bid development, product implementation efforts, service area expansions, and key Medicare Advantage planning activities. Ensure all products, processes, and materials align with CMS requirements and organizational compliance standards.

Analyze Markets and Identify Growth Opportunities

Monitor competitive trends, industry developments, consumer insights, and demographic shifts to uncover opportunities for growth, product differentiation, and market expansion. Present recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Enhance the Member Experience

Guide the development and review of member-facing communications, enrollment materials, benefit documentation, and digital experiences. Help ensure content is accurate, compliant, accessible, and aligned with member expectations, including culturally relevant and multilingual experiences when appropriate.

Support Marketing and Growth Strategies

Partner with Marketing, Sales, Community Engagement, and other teams to support go-to-market strategies, member acquisition efforts, retention programs, broker education, and community outreach initiatives.

Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives

Serve as the product lead for strategic initiatives, bringing together stakeholders across the organization to align priorities, manage timelines, mitigate risks, and successfully execute key business objectives.

Measure Impact and Deliver Insights

Evaluate product performance through membership growth, retention, utilization, operational outcomes, market share, and member experience metrics. Translate data into actionable recommendations that inform strategic decision-making.

Stay Ahead of Industry Trends

Maintain expertise in Medicare Advantage regulations, CMS guidance, healthcare market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities that may influence product strategy and performance.

Job Requirements:

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Medicare Advantage product management, health plan operations, benefit design, healthcare strategy, or related disciplines.
  • Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience analyzing market, competitive, operational, or member data to support product decisions.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions to deliver strategic initiatives.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage bid development, product implementation, service area expansions, or managed care operations.
  • Experience supporting multicultural, underserved, or diverse member populations.
  • Experience with member experience, digital engagement, marketing strategy, or community-based growth initiatives

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

Preferred
  • MBA, MPH, MHA, or other related advanced degree.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.

Supervisory Responsabilities

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, it plays a critical leadership role through cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder influence, and ownership of strategic initiatives.

Pay Range: $85,696.00 - $128,543.00
Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
