Job Description:
The HVC embedded sw engineer role will be responsible for developing embedded sw solutions to support the HVC product team, and ultimately be responsible for taking these solutions to production.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- Good understanding of target systems (HVC machines, tractors ) within and across production systems
- Experience in development within cross-platform solutions and systems integration (3 years)
- Successful performance and experience in executing TDP discovery solutions and converting in PDP projects (3 years)
- Good collaboration skills with customers, cooperators and partners and John Deer cross-platform communication (3 years)
- Experience in software engineering practices and the appropriate tools to develop JD Display and controller software including simulation methods and sensor handling
- Experience in a Linux Environment and coding with lua (C, C++), embedded C, MATLAB/Simulink, and QML for User Interface development, or experience codding in other similar languages
- Experience in using tools such as GitHub, C/C++, lua, QML, JSON, Protobuf schema, Data analysis tools (Operation Center).
Nice to have; experience or background in farming practices.
