Core responsibilities
- Build an engaging classroom and lab environment that sparks curiosity and confidence in HVACR fundamentals and advanced practices.
- Lead immersive, hands-on labs so students practice diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVACR systems.
- Collaborate with the education team to enhance curriculum and develop new course content aligned to current industry standards.
- Coach and mentor learners on projects, promoting critical thinking and creative problem solving.
- Champion safety protocols and model best practices to ensure a secure learning space.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience across refrigeration, commercial HVAC, residential HVAC, mini‑splits, boilers, and related systems.
- Credentials valued: EPA 608/Universal and OSHA 10–30.
- Clear, patient communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse learners and colleagues.
- Empathy and patience—because every student’s learning journey is unique.
