HVACR Pipefitting Assembler — Brazing Specialist

What will you build here?

• Precision tubing paths for refrigeration systems using copper and steel.
• Leak-tight copper-to-copper joints through torch brazing and core brazing fundamentals.
• Proper suction and discharge piping layouts for reliable performance.
• Clean, accurate flares and swages that meet spec.

How you’ll do it

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and install tubing to print.
• Operate a copper saw and tube bender safely and efficiently.
• Pressurize and perform leak checks on units you assemble.
• Apply shop tools daily: tube cutters, hand vise, power benders, files, flaring/swedging tools, and torch.
• Assist with unit layout and setup; support continuous improvement.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months of related experience/training; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Math skills across whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; familiarity with basic algebra and geometry.
• Comfort solving practical problems where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to follow instructions delivered in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
