    Presidential, within the Southern Home Services network, is expanding. We’re seeking an HVACR Performance Technician who takes pride in precise diagnostics, thorough maintenance, and clear communication. You’ll safeguard comfort and safety across residential systems—and occasionally light commercial—while documenting your work so every customer interaction ends with confidence.

    Your mission

    • Restore and optimize system performance by cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC components: air handlers, supply/return ducting, registers, vents, and condensate drainage.
    • Conduct residential service calls—troubleshooting, emergency repairs, seasonal tune-ups—and ensure code, manufacturer, and safety compliance.
    • Deliver consultative recommendations and tailored solutions with professionalism.
    • Execute inspections, perform adjustments and minor upgrades, and capture complete service records.
    • Uphold a safe, organized workspace and vehicle; follow company and industry best practices.
    • Contribute as needed with additional duties as assigned.

    What you bring

    • 3–5+ years of HVAC service experience focused on residential systems.
    • EPA Certification (required) and a valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
    • Strong diagnostic aptitude and critical thinking under time-sensitive conditions.
    • Quality-first workmanship and a positive, professional demeanor.
    • Customer-centric communication; ability to interact across all organizational levels.
    • Team-oriented, flexible, and inventive when faced with new challenges.

    Physical demands

    • Lift 50 lbs routinely; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
    • Climb ladders; work in attics and crawlspaces; navigate tight spaces; push/pull/carry; use hand tools; perform fine detail work.
    • Drive regularly to customer locations.
    • Operate in indoor/outdoor environments including extreme heat/cold and adverse weather.
    • Stand, walk, sit; talk/hear in person and via phone; handle tools; reach with hands/arms.
    • Frequently stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
