What a Week Could Look Like
- Day 1: Commission a water source heat pump and validate performance.
- Day 2: Troubleshoot a VRF system (Samsung/Hitachi) and restore comfort.
- Day 3: Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop packaged units to prevent future failures.
- Day 4: Optimize humidity control while integrating with site energy management.
- Day 5: Tackle an advanced refrigeration issue and brief the client on next steps.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- 5+ years of independent commercial HVAC field work (for senior candidates); we are also hiring entry-level technicians eager to learn.
- Hands-on knowledge of commercial A/C, heating, water source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged systems.
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting ability and prior preventative maintenance experience.
- Advanced refrigeration expertise.
- Controls experience is a plus.
- Background with Aaon, Climatemaster, Multistack Chiller, ClimaCool, and VRF platforms (Samsung, Hitachi, etc.) is a plus.
- Chiller experience is a plus.
- Experience as a manufacturer’s representative is a plus.
- EPA certification.
- A clean driving record.
Compensation
Estimated Salary: $25/hr - $70/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
