HiFyve is hiring an HVAC Technician in the Waukesha, WI area!
Starting Pay: $21- $31+/hr (Depends on skills/experience)
Shift:
- Full-time | Must be Flexible - Hours will flex during peak season
- Rotating on-call every other weekend for emergency service response

About the Role
This role provides HVAC equipment delivery, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and customer support for a large equipment operation. The HVAC Technician will work directly with customers, managers, and sales teams while ensuring rental equipment is properly installed, tested, maintained, and ready for use.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and install portable HVAC and climate control equipment at customer locations
- Train customers and authorized operators on the safe use of equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and climate control equipment
- Understand the operation, specifications, capabilities, and controls of rental equipment
- Install flexible gas hose for propane and natural gas applications
- Safely inspect and verify gas connections
- Clean, test, and inspect returned equipment to ensure proper operation and appearance
- Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, installations, and service calls
- Maintain accurate equipment records, serial numbers, and rental tracking
- Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers
- Safely operate company vehicles and follow all company safety procedures
- Support emergency service calls through a rotating on-call schedule
- Perform general shop duties and assist with equipment preparation and maintenance
Qualifications
- HVAC certificate preferred, but offers training!
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing climate control equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to safely work with propane and natural gas connections
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends during peak periods
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following established safety procedures
