HVAC Technician I

Rutter's is looking for an HVAC/R Technician to join our team! If you have HVAC/R or restaurant equipment service experience and enjoy hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career with Rutter's.

What You'll Do

As an HVAC/R Technician I, you'll help keep Rutter's locations operating safely and efficiently by servicing and repairing a wide variety of equipment and systems, including:

• Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Refrigeration equipment
• Kitchen and foodservice equipment
• Beverage systems
• Plumbing systems
• Lighting and electrical systems
• General building repairs, including minor drywall, flooring, and painting
• Company tools, equipment, and service vehicles

This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and the ability to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R or restaurant equipment service OR 2 years of formal technical training in HVAC/R, plumbing, or electrical
• EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification - Required
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service needs across multiple locations
• May be required to successfully pass a DOT physical depending on the vehicle operated
