The HVAC Service and Install
Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of
heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential,
commercial, and industrial settings. The role requires expertise in troubleshooting,
system installation, and performing preventative maintenance. The ideal
candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent customer service
abilities, and a commitment to safety and compliance with local codes and
regulations.<\/span>

Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>

Installation:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioners,
furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and thermostats in homes, offices, and/or industrial
settings.<\/span>
<\/li> - Perform full system replacements and upgrades as
needed, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and local
building codes.<\/span>
<\/li> - Layout and install complex piping systems for air
conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems but not limited to.<\/span>
<\/li> - Measure and cut ductwork, install insulation, and mount
systems to walls, roofs, and foundations but not limited to.<\/span>

and Repair:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems,
such as mechanical failures, electrical faults, or refrigerant leaks.<\/span>
<\/li> - Repair or replace defective components, such as
compressors, fans, electrical wiring, and control panels.<\/span>
<\/li> - Recharge refrigerant, test pressures, and ensure
systems meet efficiency and environmental standards.<\/span>
<\/li> - Conduct performance tests to ensure systems are
operating correctly and efficiently after installation or repair.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul>Preventative
Maintenance:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Perform routine maintenance services such as cleaning
air filters, inspecting systems, lubricating mechanical parts, and
adjusting controls.<\/span>
<\/li> - Identify potential problems before they cause
breakdowns and recommend repairs to improve system performance.<\/span>
<\/li> - Provide clients with maintenance schedules and service
recommendations to ensure long -term system functionality.<\/span>

<\/p>- Communicate with customers to understand their heating
or cooling needs and provide professional advice on the best solutions.<\/span>

installations, and maintenance services.<\/span>

<\/li>- Experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and
repair.<\/span>
<\/li> - Experience working with a variety of HVAC systems,
including residential and/or commercial units.<\/span>
<\/li><\/ul> - Technical Skills:<\/span><\/b>
<\/li>- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, air
conditioning, and refrigeration systems.<\/span>
<\/li> - Proficient in diagnosing, repairing, and installing
HVAC systems, including refrigerant handling.<\/span>

confined spaces, and at heights.<\/span>

tools (up to 50 lbs) and performing physical tasks such as bending,
climbing, and standing for extended periods.<\/span>
