Job Summary
A company in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking an HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a direct hire opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality work, troubleshooting, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and determine the right course of repair
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and system inspections
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Document work performed, parts used, and system conditions accurately
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with EPA and local code requirements
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members about findings and recommendations
Qualifications
- Experience working as an HVAC technician in residential, commercial, or both settings
- EPA Section 608 certification (Universal preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and troubleshooting methods
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift equipment, work in tight spaces and at heights, and handle the physical demands of the trade
- Professional, reliable, and customer focused
Compensation is $30-$50/hr depending on experience. This is a direct hire position.
