Description

Pro Resources is seeking an HVAC Technician for a client in Auburn, IN. The HVAC Technician  will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs and/or upgrades of all heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems and equipment for the plant. All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the
Facilities Department policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives. This role will be responsible for HVAC duties of advanced to considerable difficulty in the performance of facility equipment maintenance. This is a skilled position that requires proficiency to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems. The Maintenance Technician is also an active member of the Preventative Maintenance Team.

Shift and Compensation 
  • Monday-Friday 6-2:30 PM
  • Compensation is from 58,240 USD to 79,040 USD per year
Job Duties
  • Complete regular daily inspection of key HVAC/R related equipment plantwide
  • Complete runtime and downtime HVAC/R Preventative Maintenance as required plantwide
  • Troubleshoot all HVAC/R related issues, establish root cause, and complete required repairs
  • Plan and implement corrective actions
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform additional maintenance work as required
  • Track time through work order completion
  • Keep all work areas free of clutter and maintain tools to ensure operability
  • Complete any HVAC/R or Maintenance related tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or other member of plant leadership
  • Promote a team environment
Background Profile
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical Certificate or Degree from an accredited trade
    school, college, or university highly preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in the HVAC/R field preferred
  • Current Universal Refrigerant handling certificate
  • Regular and predictable attendance required
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and
    programming issues as related to HVAC/R
