HVAC Construction Manager Opportunity

This opportunity is with a small-sized organization specializing in the construction sector within the ground-up multifamily industry. Job Description

Oversee and manage all HVAC construction activities from project startup through completion, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules.

Coordinate daily field operations with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain workflow and meet project milestones.

Supervise HVAC crews and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and productivity expectations are consistently achieved.

Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to identify and resolve potential construction challenges.

Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, safety regulations, company policies, and project requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality, progress, and adherence to project specifications.

Provide technical guidance and support to field personnel, helping to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.

Monitor labor, material, and equipment utilization to support budget objectives and maximize operational efficiency.

Facilitate coordination meetings and communicate project updates, schedule changes, and key milestones to stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

Extensive experience in commercial, multifamily, or industrial HVAC construction with a strong understanding of field operations and project execution.

Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment installation, controls, startup, and commissioning processes.

Proven leadership experience managing field personnel, subcontractors, and multiple project activities simultaneously.

Strong ability to coordinate effectively with general contractors, project managers, engineers, owners, and other trade partners.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills in fast-paced construction environments.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Experience utilizing construction management software and tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

Strong commitment to safety, quality control, and maintaining compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
