Requirements Education/Certification:

Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technical School Graduate

Valid Texas drivers license

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, and practices used in HVAC.

System maintenance work and in the proper use and care of equipment.

Ability to make minor adjustments and service repairs to all types of HVAC equipment, (split units, package units, chilled water systems and thermal storage)

Ability to train, assigns, supervises, and inspects the work of subordinates.

Ability to maintain records and prepare routine written reports.

Ability to maintain good relationships with school personnel, students, and the General Public.

Ability to use power and hand tools.

Experience:

At least 2 years experience in the field of HVAC Systems. Description Primary Purpose:

Inspect and repair all HVAC systems throughout the district. Application Procedure Position: HVAC SKILLED TECHNICIAN (PG 407)
