HVAC Service Technician

Job Type: Full-time

If you like a mix of service and install work, and you want a smaller crew that actually looks out for each other, you'd fit well here.

This is a shop for people who hustle, take pride in their work, and want to put down roots somewhere they matter, not disappear into a big operation where you're just another truck number.

Upstate Home Maintenance Services is a residential service and install company serving the Spartanburg, SC area.

Day to day, techs wear a few hats: service calls, installations, repairs, and new construction when it comes up.

We're growing the team and looking for a tech who wants to be a real part of the crew, someone who can make a real mark and have a place to belong for the long haul.

We're hiring one experienced tech who wants variety in the work, a team that backs them, and a real seat on a smaller, family-style crew.

Start is ASAP.

What You'll Get:

• $26-$34/hr depending on experience
• $1,000 sign-on bonus at hire
• $1,500 bonus after 90 days
• Overtime available (most techs get OT weekly)
• PTO and paid holidays
• Company vehicle
• Uniforms provided
• Paid training and certifications
• A chance to be a go-to tech on a close-knit crew

What You'll Be Doing:

• Running residential service and repair calls
• Installing residential HVAC systems
• New construction installs when they come up
• Switching between call types instead of getting stuck in one lane
• Pitching in wherever the crew needs you
• Some weekend and on-call coverage as needed
• Keeping job sites clean and making sure homeowners are taken care of

Who We're Looking For:

You take pride in your work, and you show up for your teammates.

You'd rather hustle with a crew that knows each other than do the bare minimum, and you want to be someone the shop counts on.

Beyond that:

• About 3-5 years of HVAC experience
• Real experience in both service and installation (our service techs need to know how to install)
• EPA certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean record

How to Apply:

Click the apply button below to submit a quick application.

We'll get back to you quickly.

If you want a shop where you're a person on the crew, not just a truck number, we'd love to hear from you.
