Purpose of the RoleThe Service Technician / Commissioning Agent is responsible for testing,inspecting, troubleshooting, and verifying the performance of building systems toensure they operate according to design specifications, project requirements, andindustry standards. Key Responsibilities
Execute functional performance testing to verify systems operate asintended. Troubleshoot system deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions withmechanical teams, vendors, and project teams. Review construction documents, submittals, sequences of operation, andequipment specifications. Document commissioning activities, test results, deficiencies, andresolutions. Conduct site inspections and verify installation quality and codecompliance. Perform preventive maintenance and warranty calls as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company procedures, andindustry standards.
QualificationsMust-Have
EPA Certification Experience with HVAC, electrical, controls, mechanical systems, or buildingautomation systems. 5+ Years in Service Tech/Commissioning Experience Valid driver's license; willingness to travel full-time across multi-stateproject locations Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
Preferred
Working knowledge of and experience with DDC Controls and Test andBalance process. Experience with Daikin Equipment. Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mission-criticalfacilities.
