About the Role: Mayne Mechanical LLC is looking for an experienced and driven HVAC Service Manager to lead our service team in Sykesville, MD. Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the HVAC service department, including scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC service technicians to ensure high performance and quality workmanship
- Manage service calls for residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, including diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of service orders, invoicing, and customer follow-up
- Maintain inventory of parts, equipment, and service vehicles to support efficient field operations
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving escalated service issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry codes, and company standards
Requirements:- 5+ years of HVAC industry experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and preventative maintenance
- EPA 608 Certification required; additional certifications (NATE, etc.) a plus
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of field technicians
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with service management software and basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
