We've built our reputation on quality workmanship, dependable service, and long-term relationships with our customers and employees.We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Department Manager to take ownership of our residential service operation. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands HVAC in the field and can also manage the people, processes, and performance behind a successful service department.You'll work closely with technicians, oversee daily operations, monitor department performance, and make sure customers receive consistent, high-quality service.Your ResponsibilitiesLead the Service TeamManage the day-to-day activities of the HVAC service departmentLead, coach, and mentor service techniciansSet expectations and hold the team accountable for performanceSupport technician development, training, and problem-solvingBuild a culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, and qualityManage Daily OperationsOversee service scheduling, dispatching, and technician workflowCoordinate demand service and preventative maintenance operationsKeep jobs moving efficiently and address scheduling or field issuesStep in to assist technicians with difficult troubleshooting when neededEnsure work is completed safely, correctly, and according to company standardsOwn Department PerformanceTrack key performance indicators and technician productivityReview invoices, job records, and department documentationAssist with budgeting, cost control, and operational planningIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitabilityMaintain strong safety and compliance standardsWhat We're Looking For4–6+ years of HVAC field experience in service and/or installationPrevious experience leading, supervising, or mentoring HVAC techniciansStrong understanding of residential HVAC service operationsExperience with scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, and/or service department processesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively with technicians, customers, and office staffEPA Certification requiredA leadership approach that combines accountability, support, and developmentCompensation & Benefits$90,000–$100,000 base salary + performance bonus401(k) with 3% company matchHealth, dental, and vision insurance - 50% employer-paid100% employer-paid life insuranceShort- and long-term disability coveragePaid holidaysPTO and sick timePaid birthday offWhy This Role?This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on how an established HVAC service department operates.You won't simply be managing from behind a desk.
