Job Description: HVAC Selling Technician

Looking to TRADE up to a better opportunity? Applegate Home Comfort is looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude to join our growing HVAC team as a Selling Technician.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00+/hour (uncapped commission)

The Selling Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairing, and replacing parts on equipment as needed to meet customer needs. This role also requires the ability to identify opportunities for system replacements, communicate those opportunities to customers, and successfully close on-site sales of new equipment. Technicians are expected to communicate effectively with both customers and dispatch regarding job details and any additional information necessary to ensure exceptional service. Accurate documentation of all jobs and customer interactions is required.

What You Will Do

• Diagnose problems with HVAC equipment.
• Stay current on new products and technologies within the industry.
• Run service calls and repair and/or replace parts as needed.
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement and effectively communicate options to customers.
• Work with customers and the installation team to successfully execute equipment sales.
• Clearly document and communicate the details of each service call to ensure proper follow-up and future job execution.

What You Will Bring

• 1-5 years of residential HVAC sales and service experience (required).
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience, including certification from a technical or trade school.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
