Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable, high-energy, and hands-on HVAC Repair Shop Assistant to thrive in our busy, fast-paced repair facility. In this role, you will support our team with daily workshop operations, equipment staging, inventory tracking, and administrative tasks including paperwork and documentation.


The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of air conditioning systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Shop Organization: Take charge of organizing, cleaning, and maintaining a neat, safe, and efficient shop environment under tight deadlines.
  • Inventory Support: Assist the team leader in managing, counting, and organizing inventory, supplies, tools, and replacement parts.
  • Administrative Support: Help the leadership team with paperwork, filing, documentation, and routine clerical tasks related to shop operations.
  • Equipment & Technical Support: Assist HVAC technicians with troubleshooting, preparing tools, cleaning/staging equipment, and performing repairs on HVAC units and components utilizing full knowledge of the field.
  • Logistics: Safely handle loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment for the shop and field operations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workspace and handling standards comply with company safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements


  • Education & Experience: Comprehensive knowledge of the HVAC field, demonstrated either by having completed formal studies/certification in HVAC repair or through equivalent years of hands-on experience in the industry.
  • Driving Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage both hands-on physical tasks and basic paperwork/documentation efficiently.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
