What you’ll do
- Install, commission, and service commercial refrigeration equipment and supporting components.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues; perform timely repairs to limit customer disruption.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to boost reliability and efficiency.
- Coordinate with dispatch and fellow technicians to complete work orders and projects on schedule.
- Capture accurate service notes, parts used, and repair history.
- Deliver professional, customer-centered communication on-site and after service.
- Keep current with new refrigeration technologies, tools, and best practices.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in refrigeration is a plus.
- Hands-on experience as a refrigeration technician or closely related role.
- Solid grasp of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC fundamentals.
- Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
