Description for Project Manager:
- Prepare highly accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, tenant improvements, and design-build work.
- Review and evaluate architectural construction blueprints, mechanical drawings, specs, and contract files.
- Execute detailed engineering equipment takeoffs, ductwork dimensions, and material quantity calculations.
- Solicit, log, and negotiate material pricing options from industrial vendors and trade subcontractors.
- Develop strict labor projections, manage multi-phase job budgets, and carry out regular cost analyses.
Details for Project Manager:
- Compensation: $80,000+ / Year Salary (DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-Time).
- Position Type:** Long-Term Professional Placement.
Requirements for Project Manager:
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience within commercial HVAC or mechanical building trades.
- Proven, successful track record estimating commercial mechanical construction, plan/spec, or TI projects.
- Deep structural understanding of commercial HVAC systems, controls, sheet metal layout, and piping.
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to navigate Microsoft Excel matrices and project software cleanly.
- Outstanding organizational tracking, sharp communication habits, and a professional presentation.
