A day in this role
Open the counter, greet contractors, and field questions about HVAC parts and equipment. You’ll look up the right items using inventory tools and product catalogs, then pull, stage, and prepare orders with accuracy. Between rushes, you’ll process transactions, restock shelves, keep counts tight, and keep both the warehouse and counter areas neat and organized.
What you’ll do
- Assist customers at the counter with HVAC parts and equipment inquiries
- Pull, stage, and prepare HVAC parts orders with precision
- Use inventory systems and catalogs to identify and locate parts
- Process customer orders and sales transactions
- Maintain inventory accuracy and help stock shelves
- Deliver excellent service to contractors, technicians, and walk-in customers
- Keep the warehouse and counter space orderly and clean
What you bring
- Counter sales experience (preferred)
- Hands-on experience pulling HVAC, automotive, plumbing, electrical, or industrial parts (required)
- Clear, friendly communication and strong customer service skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory management tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Backgrounds that stand out
Experience from places like NAPA Auto Parts, HVAC supply houses, plumbing supply stores, industrial supply companies, or similar parts-centric roles is highly preferred.
