We drive innovation in air filtration – by investing in the people and companies that develop the solutions that today's world demands – to bring those innovative products to market so that our customers can bring maximum value and safety to the facilities and businesses they serve.What you will do:As a Field Service Technician I at The Filter Shop in Des Moines, Iowa, you will be responsible for providing basic on-site service and support to customers. This role is an entry-level position that assists in the installation of filters in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, both indoors and outdoors – including rooftops. The Technician I is expected to follow established procedures, demonstrate a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, and develop foundational technical skills to advance within the field service career ladder.Assist in the installation of filters at customer sites according to standard procedures.Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in clean and working condition.Follow safety protocols and company policies during all service activities.Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure service quality.Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors for resolution.Participate in training programs to build technical knowledge and service skills.Support inventory management by tracking parts usage and reporting shortages.Other Accountabilities as AssignedEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50lbs and work in various environments and conditions.What Rensa provides: Paid Time OffHealthDentalVisonHealth Savings AccountBasic Life / Voluntary Life & AD&DShort/Long-Term Disability / Buy-Up Short/Long-Term DisabilityCritical Illness InsuranceHospital Indemnity InsuranceCancer InsuranceEmployee Assistant Program
