Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician specializing in HVAC & Facilities, you will:
HVAC & Mechanical Systems – Maintain and troubleshoot heating systems, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, controls, pumps, motors, and other mechanical components.
Preventive Maintenance – Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, building systems, and other mechanical equipment to keep everything operating safely and efficiently.
Repairs & Work Orders – Troubleshoot and complete repairs involving plumbing, lighting, equipment, and other general maintenance needs.
Building Systems & Equipment – Maintain water systems and set up, test, and repair facility and resident equipment.
Safety & Reliability – Help ensure Cedar Community's buildings, systems, and equipment remain safe, functional, and reliable for residents and team members.
Qualifications:
Maintenance Experience – One to two years of related maintenance, facilities, HVAC, or mechanical experience preferred.
HVAC Knowledge – Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including heating, boilers, refrigeration, ventilation, air handlers, thermostats, and controls.
Mechanical Skills – Working knowledge of pumps, motors, belts, and other mechanical components.
Preventive Maintenance – Ability to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment.
Driver’s License – Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required.
