    Job Title: HVAC Engineer
    Work Location: Windsor, CO
    Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire

    Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent, trade school preferred

    Hours:
    • Monday-Friday 8am - 4:30pm with rotating on call schedule
    • Week long on call
    • 2 hrs automatically for being on-call
    • 15 mins for each call that is taken
    • 4 hrs automatically if call results in coming on site
    Job Description:
    As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for complex commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.

    This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
    • This is a manufacturing facility that manufactures turbine blades
    • Safety is paramount
    • Candidate will be part of a team and the team works to help each other out where needed, even if it seems to be outside of their typical job. General maintenance tasks will be asked of everyone.
    Resource's typical working day:
    • Preventative maintenance work
      • Air handling units
      • Boilers
      • Humidification system
    • General maintenance as needed
    • Reactive work as needed
    • Daily rounds
    • Managing daily work orders
    Responsibilities :
    • Assign tasks to team members. Ensure all duties are done in a timely manner.
    • Install, repair, adjust, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment, including calibration of related instruments, gauges, and control components.
    • Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.
    • Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
    • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
    • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
    • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with *** RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
    • Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
    • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
    • Explain difficult or sensitive information.
    Skills & Qualifications :
    • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5/7 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
    • Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
    • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
    • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
    • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
    • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
    • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
    Licenses/Certifications:
    • EPA Universal License
    • Driver's license
    Must Have Skills:
    • Heavy understanding of HVAC
    • General maintenance skills
      • Light plumbing
      • Light electrical
    • Trouble shooting skills
    Nice to have skills:
    • Commercial experience with HVAC
    • Maximo experience
    • Aerial lift certification
    • Trained in fall protection
    • Fork lift certified
