- Perform sales presentations and site walks as needed.
- Provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing HVAC system related solutions for customer's problems.
- Understand construction specifications in relationship to production, construction and installation specifications within the HVAC business.
- Present internal sales reports.
- Develop and maintain long- term customer relationships with new commercial/industrial clients.
- Provide full estimates for commercial bid proposals.
- Provide professional bid proposals with high level of attention to detail.
- Implement selling and marketing strategies to penetrate and develop commercial HVAC accounts.
Requirements
- HVAC sales experience.
- Strong understanding of HVAC commercial industry.
- Experience working with past and present mechanical systems.
- Knowledge with control systems, ventilation, light commercial, large package units and split systems.
- Some experience estimating removals and installs.
- Must be capable of climbing ladders.
- Comfortable interacting with building owners, building managers and maintenance supervisors.
- Willing to cold call when necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, when necessary.
- Successful background check.
- Valid drivers license.
