Job Summary

Comfort Temp Heating and Air is seeking a Commercial Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining the efficiency and reliability of commercial HVAC systems through routine inspections, diagnostics, and servicing. Role and Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial properties as scheduled.
• Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including air handlers, rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and boilers.
• Conduct detailed inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Check refrigerant levels, belts, motors, filters, and overall system performance.
• Clean coils, fans, and other essential components to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, HVAC tools, and resources.
• Document and report maintenance findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Assist senior technicians with repairs or system upgrades as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in commercial HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 75 pounds.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in using manual and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
