We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in drafting, design, and commercial HVAC systems while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with creating and updating construction drawings and technical documentation
- Support design and coordination efforts using industry software tools
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Collaborate with Designers, Project Managers, and field teams
- Help resolve technical challenges and contribute to project success
- Maintain accurate data entry, material information, and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional training or education in drafting, design, construction technology, mechanical systems, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge or experience with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to learn and work with design and document management tools such as Bluebeam Revu (experience a plus)
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems

- Commercial HVAC systems and ductwork design
- Air distribution and fabrication requirements
- VDC/BIM processes and coordination
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive hand movements
- Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly (with or without correction)
- Coordination of hands, eyes, and fingers for detailed tasks
- Occasional work in varied environments, including rooftops, ladders, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
- Ability to work extended hours when business needs require
Additional Requirements
